do you guys miss when we used to post chiptune music ALL the time? me too. to bring us back into the oldschool 8-bit groove, here’s an arrangement done by Nick Maynard of that weekend-starter song everyone loves so very, very much…
i’m glad this exists because it makes the song actually tolerable and do i dare say, enjoyable!?
Whether you liked Tron: Legacy or not, you can’t deny that the soundtrack was fantastic. Daft Punk’s first original score for a movie of that scale was in no way a let down for most fans of the duo.
Plus their cameo was awesome...
So when I heard that a remix album of their score was being released I was VERY excited. The remix’s on this new album called “Tron Legacy – Reconfigured” are being done by a bunch of well known DJ’s and artists such as Kaskade, Photek, and even Moby (lol). I’m still listening to the album but so far it seems worth the download.
Here is my favorite song from the remix album so far. It’s the remix of “Rinzler” by Kaskade.
here’s a music video from the new and upcoming Electro-pop artist, Zowie. she’s adorable, from New Zealand, and reminds me of a mix of Yelle and Lady Gaga together. check out the music video to her song ‘Broken Machine’ below:
i really like the direction they took with the video. very cute.
you can download the RAC Remix of the song as well. RAC, you never fail to make us dance!
so here’s something you don’t see every day. this dude, known as The Hair Kid takes popular Korean Pop songs and remixes them. on top of that, he even personally raps his own lyrics into the beats as well.
hearing about this doesn’t really sound like the ingredients for something awesome, but he surprisingly does a really good job. below you can both listen and download two of his remixes of Girls Generation’s Two Different Tears and the ever so popular Gee Gee song!
The Hair Kid will be at this year’s Otakon convention in Baltimore, Maryland this weekend. keep an eye out for a mofo with crazy long hair. good job man.
