oh yeah. the one time of the year we all hit Anime Boston, and boy do we hit it hard. whether it be the countless amount of dollar burgers and Four Lokos being consumed, or the absurd heckling being screamed at local Redsox fans, this is definitely one of our all-time favorite conventions. as usual, we have a massive crew with us including: ZOMGROB, NickTheTorpedo, PC Chris, MCDEATHBEAR, MaltDisney, DJ Bones, John Grimes, and many others!

you heard correctly. a 3rd party accessories maker known as HyperKin is creating a hand held that plays american Super Nintendo cartridges. this honestly looks too good to be true! the device is known as the SupaBoy and is due for a release sometime this summer. below are a few interesting factoids about it:

yes i know, this looks amazing. the only question that comes to mind is “can this possibly be an officially licensed Nintendo product?” my guess is NO WAY. but then again, who cares. as long as we can buy one online and enjoy Super Mario RPG on the subway into the city we are all good.
