I love Halloween. It’s always fun. Even just sitting and looking at all the different costumes is fun. As the movie Mean Girls pointed out so aptly:
“In the real world Halloween was a time for little kids to dress up in scary costumes. In girl world it was the one night a year a girl could dress like a total slut and no other girls could say anything about it. The hard core girls just wore lingerie and some form of animal ears.” – Cady
Anyways I thought I’d post some fun Halloween stuff you can make for yourself. I’m certainly going to.
This drink may not look very menacing, but trust me, it packs a punch. It’s called “The Zombie” and I’d definitely recommend trying it at some point. Cocktails can look pretty girly, but they’re some of the most potent, and great tasting, things to drink. I don’t drink cocktails often unless it’s a Mojito or The Twisted Pepper Shot (You will hear the wondrous enigma that is this cocktail some other time my friends) but as I said before, this drink is well worth it.
Recipe under the cut!
Ingredients:
1 oz vodka
1/2 oz apricot or cherry brandy
1 oz dark rum
2 oz light rum
1 oz lime juice
1 tsp sugar
1 oz orange juice
1 oz pineapple juice
Lime slice
Mint
Cherry
Directions:
Mix juices, rum, brand, and vodka together. Dash grenadine, blend with ice. Garnish with lime slice, mint spring and cherry.
This thing has Brandy, Grenadine, and Dark Rum, three fantabulously delicious things. If it had Whiskey in it then I’d be in heaven. But for those of you who don’t drink, or are stuck as a designated driver, don’t worry! While the others are pie-eyed and on the floor, you’ll have groupies hanging off your fan dabby doozy costume.
For the nerdy girls/guys who enjoy wearing skirts why not try making the Silent Hill nurse costume!

You can show off your gams AND scare the living shit out of anyone who happens to come around a dark corner.
