Whats in the box? Whats in the BOX?

For those of you that were obsessed with Donnie Darko in high school (before the hot topic crowd overtook it) and a bit disappointed by Southland Tales (I thought it to be good, but definitely did not live up to its potential) have all waited for what Richard Kelly would do next.  Well the trailer for his latest film, The Box is finally here. This has been in production for quite a while (Diaz signed on in 2007) where, if any of you follow rumors, was at one point a remake of a classic Twilight Zone episode. Turns out it is based on a short story from 1970 entitled “Button, Button”. And well, from the trailer, I think it looks to be pretty neat. I’m definitely intrigued. It stars Cameron Diaz (That girl that was in movies), James Marsdan (The guy that should have had more screen time in the X-Men movies) and Frank Langella (The guy that played Perry White/James Marsdan’s dad in Superman Returns. Oh… and Skeletor… just pointing that out “Mr. Goodnight and Good Luck/ Nixon”).

Soooo, I’m a little slow… Turns out it was also a Twilight Zone episode as well, hurm, just one I haven’t seen. I’ll have to track this down.

Further inspection… It was from the 80′s twilight zone… Now I don’t want to track it down, lol.
